Jesus is love. And he wants to show his love for you by bringing peace into your life and saving it for eternity. He does this by showing you that he has already loved the world through his death on the cross. Jesus lives in me, and I want to share with you that I have found true freedom because of him! In this blog post we will explore what it means to be free in Christ Jesus.
What means Jesus Love?
Jesus Love is a central element of Christian belief and theology, which teaches that Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of sin. The Bible describes such a pure and unfiltered love: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one's friends. To lay down your life for a friend." (John 15:13).
Jesus Christ is the most important and central person in the whole history of humankind. No person before and after him has done such an incredible act of love as he did.
Love of Christ Jesus for his followers
The love of Christ for his disciples and for humanity as a whole is a theme that repeats in Johannine writings and in several of the Pauline Epistles. In many Christological models, Christ's love for followers is not mediated by any other means but is direct. The theology of the intercession of Christ from Heaven after he left the earth draws upon his continued love for his followers and his desire to bring them to salvation. In the Book of Revelation, the imagery of the wedding feast of the Lamb represents the culmination of the cycle of love and mercy of God. Which begins in the first chapter of Genesis, and ends in salvation.
God's Love
God who created us in his image and likeness loves us so much. He loves us so much that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. His death was a noble sacrifice, to pay the penalty of sin and give us eternal life with Him in heaven.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish." (John 3:16).
The one and only son. This is something really hard to understand for us humans. It's such an amazing thing: God loves us so much he sacrifices himself to save our souls!
This Divine love is a love so deep, that Jesus died for us. We are saved by his blood and we will live forever with Him in heaven. God demonstrates his love for his children also by sending the Holy Spirit into our hearts. The Bible is a record of God's love for us, told through His son Jesus Christ.
Few Bible verses on God’s love.
Christianity is a fiery love affair with Christ. Jesus is love. He loves us more than we can know and Jesus' life's purpose was to demonstrate the Father's deep love for us.
No one has ever seen God but if we love each other, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us (1 John 4:12).
God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that everyone who believes in him might not be lost but have eternal life (John 3:16).
The Bible tells us that “God is love” (I John 16:27). In his letter to the church at Corinth, God gave us a glimpse of Jesus when he wrote by the revelation that Jesus Christ was not just an idea but the reality of who he really was. And still is today: “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received: how that Christ died for our sins according to as the scriptures said. And how that He was buried and rose again the third day according as they Scriptures also said,” (1 Corinthians 15:14).
What does Jesus love? Jesus is love and he wants to show it unconditionally- the same way God has shown his unconditional, eternal, all-consuming love for us by sending his only son into this world as a human sacrifice so we can be forgiven of our sins against him.
Jesus said: "All things are possible to him who believes."
How does Jesus show his love?
Jesus demonstrated the ultimate act of love by sacrificing himself on a cross so that we could be forgiven for our sins against him. The love of Christ is a powerful thing. It is ever-present energy that flows through me and reaches out to touch the lives of people all around me. Transforming them, inviting them into a relationship with Jesus who loves us eternally.
There are many different ways of interpreting Jesus Love. For some, it is the love that Christ has for his followers. From others, it may be God’s love and how we can share in this divine quality through faith. The Bible speaks to both types of interpretations with its verses about God's unconditional love and those which tell us what Jesus did on Earth as a demonstration of His sacrificial love for humanity. Regardless, there must be an understanding that whatever type you believe Jesus' "love" refers to - he wants only good things for you!
Jesus' love is a perfect example of true love. Jesus not only spoke about his devotion for those he loved, but he also showed it by giving his blood and life for them.
What is Jesus' definition of love?
The cross was the ultimate expression of love, and Jesus endured this suffering so that he could show us who he is and what his love looks like. The cross has become a symbol of Jesus' ultimate act of selfless, sacrificial love.
By sending us the Holy Spirit as a comforter to us he shows us his love. This means we are not alone on this earth! It shows God's love and that Jesus loved you before you were on earth.
Jesus said, "I give you my peace." There is nothing more beautiful in our life than to have his inner peace! The real peace. As I write this blog post Jesus is with me and he gives me comfort as well as guidance to share these things about Jesus' amazing and historical act.
What does the Bible say about Jesus' love?
The Bible is the word of God and it tells us how to live a good life. The two most impotant commandements are:
- Love God with all your heart, mind and soul.
- You should love others as much as you love yourself.
Love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said that everything in this law hangs on these two commandments. (Mt 22:37-40)
My friend, I tell you this quite directly. Even if it sounds hard. But by saying this, I am giving you a lot of Love. Jesus is LOVE, and he lives in me. With his love, everything gets better!
Jesus love and Eternal life
Jesus Christ died and through his sacrificial love, we have eternal life. It's an ultimate sacrifice no one can really understand. We are all sinners, but Jesus died for our sins so we can be forgiven.
It's not about our own strength to get into heaven. We wouldn't be able to save ourselves from sin or death. But Jesus is the only one who has this power, so we could live in eternal life with him.
However, follow what the Bible says because if not, then you will go to hell when you die. The Bible says that Jesus loves us even when we are sinners, Jesus still loved the sinners but hated the sin.
Jesus love and your love
Jesus is your Savior and Friend. Believe what He has done for you by dying on Calvary's cruel tree. Repent of your sins and turn from them now! Let Him come into your heart today! Then will love be shed abroad in your soul like sunshine over a dark cloud.
Do you love him? Would you give up everything in your life and die to the world and follow him? Would you do something like that for someone who asked or would they have to earn your trust first? If not, why are you doing anything less than that with Jesus Christ when the Bible tells us how much he’s done for us already - without any conditions attached!
Jesus Loves You. If you read nothing else today please take a moment to remember how.
How can a Christian show his or her love for Christ?
But what does it mean when we say "I love Jesus"? What are some Bible verses about God's love? The Bible is full of Scriptures showing how humans have shown their devotion to Him by following His commands and loving others in obedience (John 14:21). These passages also teach Christians how they too can demonstrate their faithfulness through worshiping Him, praying to Him, living according to His standards as revealed in Scripture. Obeying His commandments out of gratitude rather than fear (Matthew 22:37).
I love Jesus too and am eternally grateful that he's in my life. I'm not alone anymore because Jesus is with me every step of the way. Just like he promised when we prayed together this morning on our knees and before bedtime.
Conclusion
Jesus loves us so much that He died for our sins and rose from the dead. This should be enough to compel you, if not make your heart leap with joy! I love Jesus, and I want you to know that he loves you too. He wants me to live a good life for him so when the time comes where we stand in front of him at the judgment, he will smile down on us with approval.
